Since merging with the MIMS Group, CWC Recruitment has been working closely with local partner agencies on the ground to recruit qualified international nursing professionals specifically for the German labor market.
This collaboration creates benefits on several levels:
On the one hand, it actively supports German healthcare institutions in addressing the shortage of skilled workers in a sustainable way. On the other hand, it opens up new professional opportunities for international nursing professionals and gives them the chance to build a long-term future in Germany together with their families.
How this collaboration works in practice can be seen in the example of a married couple of nurses from CWC’s Asian recruitment region. The story of Ansir and Roomi demonstrates how successful integration can work through close cooperation between candidates, the recruitment agency, and the employer.
The success of international recruitment is based on the collaboration of three key stakeholders:
Ansir and Roomi are qualified nursing professionals with international work experience. Originally from Pakistan and previously working in Dubai, the couple were looking for new career opportunities with better working conditions, fair pay, and long-term security for their family.
From the very beginning, both knew that their next career step should not only offer professional opportunities, but also create a stable future for their children.
The Landkreis Euskirchen, a regional network of various healthcare facilities, specifically recruits international professionals and focuses on sustainable integration. Together with CWC Recruitment, a process was developed that not only supports professional placement, but also promotes the long-term retention of international employees.
Together with the partner agency CIMS, CWC Recruitment coordinated the entire placement process.
The collaboration and recruitment process were carried out in close coordination:
At first, Ansir and Roomi also considered other English-speaking countries such as Canada and Ireland as possible options for their future. In the end, Germany stood out because of the long-term perspective it offered for their family.
Through the information and guidance provided by CWC Recruitment, they gained their first concrete insight into living and working in Germany. Particularly important to them was the opportunity to move together with their children, as well as the educational and future opportunities available for their family.
From the beginning, the couple wanted to take this step to Germany together as a family — a wish that was actively supported by both CWC Recruitment and the employer.
“It felt like a miracle: CWC helped us move to Germany together with our children right from the start. We are very grateful for that.” (Roomi, CWC candidate)
Thanks to this holistic approach, the family was able to relocate to Germany together. The children’s integration has also been very positive, especially through quickly learning the language and gaining new social stability.
Through its strong commitment, Landkreis Euskirchen has created opportunities not only for nursing professionals to find a new center of life and work in Euskirchen, but also, as in this example, to provide significant support to their families. This is made possible through the excellent integration work carried out by the institutions and the specially created position of a project manager. This role helps ease all matters related to administrative requirements that the nursing professionals must fulfill.
Through this support for the nursing professionals, the likelihood of the new employees remaining long-term has been significantly strengthened.
Ansir and Roomi are currently in the middle of the qualification recognition process in Germany. Both are currently completing their B2 German language level while simultaneously preparing for the qualification recognition procedure in order to work as officially recognized nursing professionals in Germany in the future.
They are being supported by Care Forward as their educational provider, which prepares them specifically for both the linguistic and professional requirements.

Family integration plays a central role in the long-term retention of international nursing professionals. Sustainable prospects for living and working in Germany can only be created when both professional and personal stability are equally supported. The opportunity to live together as a family also strengthens emotional resilience in a new work environment and supports successful integration in Germany.
The example of Ansir and Roomi shows that successful international recruitment goes far beyond simply filling positions. What matters most are structured support, reliable partnerships, and the opportunity to ensure long-term satisfaction for all parties through family reunification.
This is exactly where the added value of a sustainable integration strategy lies for both international professionals and employers.
